Early last month, Japanese sensation AI teamed up with The Jacksons to create “Letter In The Sky,” a song dedicated to all who have lost someone special in their lives. The music video showcases AI and The Jacksons collaborating in a studio, enjoying the passion each of them has for musical art. For AI, referred to as the Japanese Lady Gaga, this track celebrates 10 years of music success in Japan and is also the first release through her new record label, EMI Music Japan. For The Jacksons, their first collaboration since 1984 when they sang “State of Shock” with Mick Jagger & Michael Jackson.
The song is also the theme song for the much anticipated “Michael Jackson Tribute: Live In Tokyo” concert taking place December 13th and 14th at Yoyogi National Stadium. Hosted by and featuring AI, this collaborative concert is being produced for the dedicated fans of the legendary performers, which will include Tito, Jackie, and Marlon.
